I have been working in LTC kitchens for almost 20 years in various food service roles, and have been in a leadership position here at the Glebe Centre for 3 years now as The Director of Food Services . I've worked in both private and municipal run homes and my experience and knowledge of food service operations is an asset. I was born and raised in Ottawa and have lived here all of my life except during Covid when I was gaining more work experience in Renfrew. As a graduate of Culinary Management program I always had a passion for food, and that changed over my life to focus more on Nutrition with my own personal challenges. Food is an important part of the day whether its for comfort or taste, fueling your body or a social piece gathering with family and friends.
Outside of work I spent a lot of focus on my physical health and am a lover of Cats. I am a proud Mom to a beautiful siamese cat named Bijoux.
