We offer two specialized adult day programs that provide meaningful engagement for participants and much-needed respite for caregivers: the Dementia Adult Day Program and the Luncheon Club.

Adult Day Programs

We offer two specialized adult day programs that provide meaningful engagement for participants and much-needed respite for caregivers: the Dementia Adult Day Program and the Luncheon Club.

Program benefits:

Dementia Adult Day Program

This program runs Wednesday through Friday and supports older adults living with early to mid-stage dementia. Participants enjoy a full day of social and recreational activities, including:

  • Nutritious meals and snacks
  • Music, games, and gentle physical activity
  • Social interaction and cognitive stimulation
  • Minimal personal support
  • Transportation (available within our catchment area)

Fees apply for both the program and transportation.

Eligibility criteria apply, and referrals must be arranged through Ontario Health at Home - Champlain or at 613-741-5525.

Supportive social time for seniors

Luncheon Club

The Luncheon Club is a social day program designed for seniors who are cognitively well but may be at risk of isolation or need a little encouragement to participate in community activities.

Participants enjoy:

  • Social and recreational activities
  • A shared meal at The Glebe Centre Community Programs or a local venue
  • Transportation (may be included for those in our catchment area)
  • Outings to parks, shopping malls, or points of interest
  • A welcoming, supportive environment

The program runs three times a week, with options for in-person attendance at The Glebe Centre Community Programs, outings to community venues, or telephone participation. Fees apply depending on the format and services selected.
