Floor: Lindenwood
Outbreak Type: Respiratory Virus

Ottawa Public Health (OPH) has declared an unspecified respiratory outbreak on Lindenwood 2nd Floor as of today, February 23, 2026. Enhanced infection control measures are in place:

  • All visitors should screen for symptoms before entering the Glebe Centre.
  • Masking is highly encouraged for all visitors while in the home area.
  • Hand hygiene should be performed upon entry and exit.
  • If visiting a resident in isolation, proper PPE should be worn.

Staff are closely monitoring residents, and any symptomatic resident will be placed on contact/droplet precaution.

Floor: Bankwood
Outbreak Type: Enteric (Gastrointestinal) Virus

Bankwood remains under outbreak precautions.

  • Difficulty breathing

  • Loss of taste or smell

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Abdominal pain or cramping

  • New rash or blisters on the skin
  • Inflamed or red eyes
