On September 20, 2024, Abbotsford Seniors Centre will be hosting a fundraising concert at the Abbotsford Seniors Centre, 950 Bank Street, Ottawa. The purpose of the event is to raise funds for Abbotsford’s programs and services for older adults. Our concert is called “The Womensong Collective: celebrating local women songwriters and supporting community” featuring local female singer songwriters Lisa Taylor, Caroline Cook, Patti Burnett, Karen Oxorn, and Sarah Jackson. Join us for a late afternoon (3:30 – 6:00 pm)of original heart-warming folk, bluegrass and country music with guitar and keyboard, a cocktail party with hors d’oeuvres and silent auction. We are asking local community-focused businesses to help make a direct impact in the lives of seniors and align themselves with Abbotsford Seniors Centre by sponsoring the event or donating silent auction items.
