Accessibility at the Glebe Centre

In 2005, the Government of Ontario passed the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). The goal of this act is to create and enforce standards that will make Ontario fully accessible by 2025 in order to build a climate and environment where everyone regardless of ability can contribute fully as a part of the larger community. People with disabilities must be free from discrimination where they work, live, and receive services. The Glebe Centre makes every attempt to accommodate a person with a disability by allowing its Accessibility Program to guide all facility policies, programs, and services and by modifying policies, programs, or services that do not respect and promote the dignity and independence of people with disabilities.

The Glebe Centre Accessibility policy, information on accessible formats
or communication supports, and/or access to these alternate formats
can be obtained through all Managers or from the Administrative Assistant
